About EIKI Re:Finds

Our Philosophy

"Weaving memories and rediscovering value"

Toyama's old houses and storehouses. Having fulfilled their role, they quietly await demolition, where a time that has almost been forgotten lies dormant. We deal in antique tools, curios, and furniture found in such places.

These are not simply "second-hand goods." Each one carries memories of its former owner's life and traces of the craftsmanship of its artisans. We aim to carefully uncover this invisible value and act as a bridge to connect it to a new owner.

We believe that bringing beautiful handicrafts and tasteful materials that were once thought to be lost back into modern life is a wonderful experience that not only contributes to a sustainable society, but also adds richness and stories to everyday life.

Professional Connoisseur

Our strength lies in the discerning eye of experts who have been familiar with local buildings for many years. We use our extensive knowledge and experience to determine the true value of an item, including the type of wood, the age of the item, and signs of restoration. We have exceptional items that can only be found by us, who are deeply rooted in the region, such as fittings unique to old houses in Toyama and folk art items that have been used in daily life in the Hokuriku region.

Handmade with passion

The items found are carefully polished one by one by members of the employment support project "eiki social work," preparing them for their next journey. Their sincere handiwork is more than just a job. By showing respect and lovingly treating the items, they breathe new life into them. Your purchases contribute to the "joy of work" and "future" of someone in the local community.

From the past to your life

Simply placing an old chest of drawers can change the atmosphere of a room. Eating food from well-used tableware can make it taste a little better than usual. Such small magic resides in old things. Why not use your sensibilities to bring stories into your life? EIKI Re:Finds will help you make those once-in-a-lifetime encounters.
