【Product Overview】
This is an antique Japanese iron kettle (Tetsubin) featuring a rustic and textured surface known as "White Skin" (Shirahada) or "Sand Skin" (Sunahada). The kettle has a stable, flattened round shape (Hiramaru-gata). It features a Bronze Lid (Karakane) topped with a charming knob shaped like a Gardenia Fruit (Kuchinashi), a traditional motif symbolizing good fortune. The iron handle is decorated with an artistic "Insect-Eaten" (Mushikui) design, adding to its wabi-sabi aesthetic. This piece exudes the quiet elegance of traditional tea ceremony utensils.
