【Product Overview】
This is an antique Japanese copper kettle (Dobin or Yakan) made of what appears to be "Purple Copper" (Hanshido), known for its deep, reddish-brown patina. It has a charming rounded shape, and the lid features a knob shaped like a Gardenia Fruit (Kuchinashi) with a small moving ring. The handle is wrapped for insulation and grip. Inside, at the base of the spout, there are perforated holes acting as a built-in strainer. There is a stamped mark (signature) on the lower part of the body.
