This is a stunning turquoise blue (Shinbashi color) flower vase crafted by the renowned first-generation Kiyomizu-yaki master, Koyo Yamazaki. Yamazaki was a distinguished traditional ceramic artist from Kyoto with a brilliant career, including presenting works to the Emperor and Empress of Japan and receiving the highest awards at international expositions. The vase features a sophisticated and elegant form with a vibrant, deep color that adds a sense of dignity and brilliance to any space. Fine crackle glazes (kannyu) are visible on the surface, showcasing the rich texture unique to high-quality ceramics. This is a rare, unused piece that comes complete with its original wooden box, original cloth, and descriptive pamphlet.
