【Product Overview】

This is a stylish Japanese ceramic bowl for sweets (Kashiki or Kashibachi), featuring a striking contrast between black and white glazes. The design is characterized by a bold, rhythmic pattern of thick white glaze over a dark brownish-black base, resembling scales or waves. The artistic flow and accumulation of the glaze create a unique and powerful aesthetic. The rim has a gentle, undulating shape, emphasizing its handcrafted quality. It comes with the original wooden box (Tomobako) inscribed with the title "Kashiki" (Cake Bowl). It is an unused item stored in excellent condition.
