This is a beautiful Iroe Tsuta (colored ivy) matcha tea bowl crafted by Kansui Minamiguchi, a renowned potter who studied traditional Kyoto ceramic techniques under masters such as Koun Miyagawa and Zengoro Eiraku before opening the Somayama kiln in Shiga. This item is in unused, pristine condition. The vibrant colors and elegant gold accents beautifully depict lush ivy leaves. The intricate design flows seamlessly from the exterior to the interior of the bowl, offering a delightful visual experience while enjoying tea. Its refined presence, reflecting the changing seasons and natural beauty, will elegantly grace any tea ceremony.
