【Product Overview】

This is an antique Japanese ceramic flower vase (Hana-ire), likely Kutani Ware from the Late Edo to Meiji period (mid-to-late 19th century). The entire surface features a beautiful, fine crackle glaze (Kannyu) typical of aged pottery, giving it a rustic "Wabi-Sabi" character. The body is hand-painted with blue scroll patterns (Karakusa) and a central Peony flower in yellow and green enamels. The base features a green and yellow striped design, reminiscent of the Ko-Kutani style. Its compact size (approx. 15cm) makes it perfect for a single flower arrangement (Ichirin-zashi). Includes a wooden storage box (Awase-bako / non-original box).
