【Product Overview】
This is an elegant ceramic tea caddy (Chaire), created by the renowned Kyoto potter Heian Shunpo. It is crafted in the Takatori style (Takatori-utsushi), characterized by a glossy black glaze base with a beautiful cascading amber/brown glaze on the shoulder. The shape is a rounded "Maru-tsubo" form, which fits comfortably in the palm. The lid features a gold-colored finish on the underside, adding a touch of luxury. It comes with a high-quality Shifuku (silk drawstring pouch) featuring a classic geometric pattern on a navy background. Includes a wooden box inscribed "Takatori".
