【Product Overview】
This is a pair of exquisite porcelain sake bottles (Tokkuri) created by Asakura Isokichi II (1913-1998), a renowned master of Kutani ware and a recipient of the prestigious Order of Culture. The work clearly showcases Isokichi's unique modern artistic sensibility, blending traditional Kutani colors with his signature style. The body features a warm yellow background with fine vertical lines, decorated with vibrant motifs of flying Kingfishers (blue birds) and flowers. The long neck is coated in a striking green glaze, creating a beautiful contrast. Includes a wooden box (Tomobako) and yellow cloth.
