This is a beautiful and completely unused Ko-Ido matcha bowl crafted by the renowned Kyoto-born ceramic artist Michio Yasuda (Ikko-you kiln). It features the classic warm loquat-colored (biwa-iro) glaze and exquisite crackle patterns (kannyu) characteristic of fine Ido ware. The area around the foot shows wonderful glaze crawl, and the artist's signature mark "Ikko" is stamped near the base. This elegant piece is perfect for both formal tea ceremonies and private collections.
