【Product Overview】
This is an antique cast bronze incense burner (Koro) created by the metalwork artist "Kaho". It features a square body adorned with intricate relief carvings of auspicious motifs: a Dragon and a Phoenix set against a geometric background pattern. The lid is topped with a finial in the shape of a guardian Lion (Shishi / Foo Dog), and the handles on both sides are shaped like climbing dragons (Ryumimi). The piece has developed a significant patina, with rust and discoloration that evince its age and history, giving it a profound "Wabi-Sabi" aesthetic. The artist's mark "Kaho" (香保) is stamped on the bottom.
