【Product Overview】
This is a magnificent antique Japanese iron kettle (Tetsubin) produced by the renowned Ryubundo workshop in Kyoto. The body features a relief casting of the calligraphy "San Sui Sei Fu" (Landscape and Clear Wind) on one side and a Chinese poem on the other, reflecting a refined literati aesthetic. A key highlight is the high-quality bronze lid (Hanshido), which features an intricate openwork knob (Tsumami) that is designed to rotate freely—a sign of superior craftsmanship. The signature "Ryubundo Zo" (Made by Ryubundo) is clearly inscribed on the underside of the lid. The iron body has developed a rustic patina and rust over time, giving it a dignified presence suitable for any collection or traditional tea ceremony setting.
