This is a stunning set of two Ko-Imari lidded bowls crafted during the late Edo period. The exterior is meticulously decorated with auspicious phoenix and paulownia motifs, utilizing vibrant overglaze enamels and lavish gold leaf (Kinrande style), which beautifully showcases the peak craftsmanship of the era. The interiors of the bowls and lids feature elegant underglaze blue designs, and the base bears the classic "Fuki Choshun" mark, wishing for wealth and longevity. These exquisite pieces are perfect for special occasions, formal hospitality, or as a distinguished addition to any antique collection. Please note that they exhibit minor signs of age, such as slight wear, fine scratches, and firing artifacts, which add to their historic character.
