【Product Overview】

This is an impressive, extra-large Buddhist wood block (Mokugyo or Wooden Fish), measuring approximately 33cm (1.1 Shaku) in width. It bears the carved signature "Gyokurin" on the front, indicating high-quality craftsmanship. Likely made of Genuine Camphor Wood (Hon-Kusu), known for its superior resonance. The body features elaborate hand-carved designs of Twin Dragons facing each other, with detailed scales and features. The wood has developed a rich patina over time. It comes with a large brocade cushion and a leather-covered striker (mallet).
