【Product Overview】
This is a beautiful ceramic tea bowl (Chawan) for Matcha, created by Yoshino Kogaku of the Senju Kiln, a potter of Etchu Seto Ware (a traditional craft of Toyama Prefecture). The bowl features a warm, loquat-colored glaze with a beautiful crackle pattern (Kannyu) throughout. The texture of the clay, with small visible grains (resembling the Ishihaze style), gives it a rustic and natural charm deeply appreciated in the tea ceremony. With a wide mouth of approx. 14.5 cm (5.7 inches), it has a dignified presence and allows for easy whisking of tea. Includes the original wooden box (Tomobako), cloth, and leaflet.
【Accessories】
