【Product Overview】
This is a masterful tea bowl (Chawan) created by Suda Shoho (Josetsuan), a renowned Kyoto potter celebrated as a genius of reproducing classical ceramic styles ("Utsushi"). It is a reproduction of the Kohiki style (Powdered Celadon), originally from the Korean Joseon Dynasty. The bowl features a warm, creamy white slip glaze with bold, unglazed patches (resembling Hima or fire marks) that reveal the clay body beneath, adding a rustic and "Wabi" aesthetic. The potter's seal "Shoho" (祥豊) is impressed inside the foot ring. It comes with the original wooden box (Tomobako) inscribed with the title "Kohiki Utsushi Chawan".
【Accessories】
・Original Wooden Box (Signed/Inscribed)
